Wise Recovery & Wellness Program

What Is Going On


Many people struggle with unhealthy habits.

Sex, Food, Drugs, Alcohol, Screens, Games, and Misplaced Anger.

They mis-spend their time, money, and energy.

Wise Recovery can help.


People want health and wellness.

They keep seeking information. 

Kindness, connection, humor, wisdom, and happiness 

are missing from our lives. 


We can meditate with kindness 

and return to serenity and positive energy each day. 


Below you will find our principles, tips, 

guidebook, and a monthly community meeting.


Your recovery can occur 

with awareness, action, and a community 

that helps you re-find your wholeness.

 

You can develop choice and flexibility in your responses. 


We can then co-create the systems we really need. 

Emotions & Recovery Principles

  1. Major life events or everyday hassles can trigger negative emotions, which can lead you to unhealthy habits. 
  2. You may then feel stressed, angry, scared, bored, lonely, tired, frustrated, rejected, less than, or even delusional.
  3. Emotional compulsions occur to feel better when you are upset. 
  4. Emotional compulsions disrupt your wellness practice and living well.

Wise Recovery Tips & Affirmations

  1. 💛 I am grateful for life and my blessings.
  2. 😊 Good humor and gentle happiness make life enjoyable. 
  3. 🌳  I am humble and appreciative.
  4. 🧘‍♂️  I meditate to access serenity, compassion, wisdom and wellness.
  5. 🕊️  Serenity and grace bring wisdom to me to understand what to say and do. 
  6. 💻 I stay away from negative media as much as possible. 
  7. 📱 I stop checking my phone an hour before sleep. 
  8. 🛌 I try to go to sleep early enough to get a full rest.
  9. 🦉 If I slip up, I return to my daily program.
  10. 🌿 Wellbeing is a life-long process of mindful awareness. 
  11. 💛 If I am kind to myself now, I would ___________________________.

Mindful Awareness

Wellbeing occurs as we gain mindful awareness

of what is really going on within or around us. 


When we learn to be conscious, mindful, and aware 

of our thoughts, emotions, and body sensations, 

we can then take the right action. 


For example, sometimes we eat something, but really need water.

and unhealthy habits.
