Our Origin Story: From Vision to Systemic Architecture

In 2006, our founder, Sandy Hinden, drafted a comprehensive framework called ABCD: African Business & Community Development.

The systemic vision of that proposal was so compelling that it instantly unlocked a door directly to global leadership. It led to a face-to-face summit in Florida with Gertrude Mongella, the historic first President of the Pan-African Parliament.

President Mongella saw the potential and offered a direct opportunity to fund a critical water project. It was a massive, high-stakes moment.

However, as an independent visionary just starting out, the downstream financial plumbing — the deep institutional banking networks and Wall Street connections — was not yet in place to capture that lightning in a bottle. The infrastructure simply hadn't caught up to the scale of the vision.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a venture capital attorney, compliance manager, or corporate fund structures advisor.
Deep familiarity with setting up Delaware Limited Partnerships (LPs) and managing SEC Exempt Reporting Adviser (ERA) filings.
Ability to handle multi-tiered legal frameworks for both high-growth equity and long-horizon sovereign infrastructure projects.

Objective

Source, audit, and mathematically vet deep-tech portfolio companies capable of physically displacing high-emission legacy industries.

Qualifications

Strong background as a climate-tech venture investor, systems engineer, or commercial scientist.
Technical fluency in macro-leverage sectors (e.g., synthetic biology, cellular agriculture, automated circular manufacturing, and resource-aware AI).
Capability to construct and implement a functional "Systemic Displacement Index" (SDI) scorecard to weed out greenwashing.
